CLAV ENDO BIOTIC: Nine important bacterial strains for the intestinal flora
There are more living creatures and micro-organisms in our intestines than there are humans living on the planet. These micro-organisms and intestinal bacteria carry out many tasks that directly influence our health and wellbeing. The intestine affects the digestion as well as our immune system and is the origin of many different metabolic products such as enzymes, hormones, antioxidants and vitamins. The combination of all micro-organisms found in the intestine is also known as the "intestinal flora''.
The metabolic products found in this intestinal flora play a pivotal role in our bodies, as they process nutrients within the digestive system and make them available to the body.
A healthy, properly functioning intestinal flora is therefore the basis for our supplies of energy and nutrients. Approximately 80 % of all immune reactions take place in the digestive system as a whole.
In concrete terms, this means that when the intestine and the intestinal flora are weakened, the immune system is also affected. Conversely, the digestive system suffers if the immune system is weakened.
What is bad for the intestinal flora?
There are several factors that can harm the intestinal flora. These can include illnesses, an unhealthy or unfamiliar diet, stress and also taking antibiotics or other medications.
In particular, antibiotics severely reduce the healthy bacterial strains in our intestinal flora, as they attack all bacteria equally, regardless of whether they are good or bad. This is why the use of antibiotics is often followed by digestive issues, stomach ache or diarrhoea.
An imbalance therefore occurs in the intestinal flora between the individual bacterial strains, which usually disappears within a few weeks. However, if antibiotics are required for a longer period, the intestinal flora can be permanently damaged.
What can I do to maintain a healthy intestinal flora?
In general, a balanced diet can support a healthy intestinal flora. It is crucial to supply all the important bacterial strains with the nutrients they require. So-called probiotics are said to have a positive effect on the intestinal flora. Probiotics are products that contain living micro-organisms (bacteria), for example lactic acid bacteria from kefir, yoghurt or buttermilk and yeast.
In addition to probiotics, prebiotics also have a positive effect on the intestinal flora. Unlike probiotics, prebiotics do not contain living micro-organisms but fibre instead, which cannot be digested by the body. This fibre includes plant substances such as inulin and oligofructose. Some of the good bacterial strains in the colon absorb these prebiotics, utilise them and are able to multiply in the process.
CLAV ENDO BIOTIC contains nine valuable probiotic bacterial strains. We carefully select high-quality bacterial cultures according to the principle of "quality over quantity".
Are all bacteria bad?
Definitely not! Of course, there are disease-causing bacteria, which make us sick or make us feel unwell. We usually pick up these bacteria from our environment. However, there is also an extremely large number of good and useful bacteria found in our intestinal flora that we need for metabolic processes and a healthy life.
Intestinal bacteria are, like other micro-organisms, living creatures that require nutrients in order to survive. Just as people are different, there are also various different intestinal bacteria, which occur in different bacterial strains or bacterial colonies and have individual needs.
EASY INTAKE
For optimal effect, CLAV "Endo Biotic" should be taken daily. Dissolve 3 grams (one level teaspoon) in liquid and drink. Due to its pH value, water is ideal for activating the freeze-dried bacteria. However, milk, yoghurt or tea are also well suited for rehydrating "Endo-Biotic". Please note in general: the liquid in which you dissolve Endo Biotic,
- must not be hotter than 40° C
- should not be coffee, alcohol or any other liquid with a very acidic pH value (e.g. cola, fruit juices, vinegar)
- and should preferably not contain carbonic acid.
HOW TO STORE CLAV Endo Biotic
If possible, store the can in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children.
CLAV Endo Biotic must not be used after the expiry date which is stated on the packaging.
